There are actually very few limitations, on where you can place your refuge, bare in mind that the platform is usually built by the costumer, so as long as the foundations are solid, the tent can be placed on top. Our units are relatively light. So no deep foundations are usually required.
Units bolt to a lightweight timber or steel deck that sits on screw‑piles or shallow footings, protecting tree roots and easing permit requirements. Depending on where you plan to place the unit, further considerations maybe required.
For short-stay pop-ups on forgiving, dry ground, our shelters can sit directly on fabric floors—from feather-light travel mats to rugged PVC membranes.
For long-term stays or regions with heavy rain, a raised platform is essential: it preserves the canvas, eliminates splash-back, and levels uneven topography for a true long term luxury experience.
We recommend finishing the deck flush with the canvas walls. Following our guided sketches. Larger deck overhangs can be designed accordingly.
We usually recommend to create the frame out of galvanized metal.
Although it can also be made from wood or concrete.
Depending on your choice different elements maybe required to adapt it to our structure.
Over the base frame, there are many options that you can choose from depending on whats available in your vicinity, and/or your design requirements. (Wooden planks, Sheetrock/cement, Vinyl covering, etc)
Our tents can be quickly disassembled to be relocated. However depending how you made you platform that may be more challenging to move. If you plan to move it soon, consult with us, so we can recommend how to create a dis-assemble-able platform.

Passive stack‑effect vents at the roof apex pull hot air up and out, while mesh‑backed wall panels invite cross‑breezes. Inner liners add insulation; mini‑split HVAC or radiant floors can be integrated via concealed service chases.
Optional Climate Modulation Layers
Clip‑in insulation liners enhance thermal performance in high‑altitude or temperate regions, while detachable reflective shade canopies can reduce peak internal temperatures by up to 8 °C under direct solar load.
Add insulation layes on roof and choose from wide array of insulated walls, vinyl glass, or mosquito net to adapt your shelter to your environment, and easily change it according to the seasons.
Solution‑dyed acrylic resists mildew; a mild bleach wash restores the weave without colour loss. Fibreglass insect screens keep out mosquitoes and midges and can be replaced individually if damaged. Termites or rats if nested can harm the fabrics.
Each tent is custom made to the elements and colors that most suitable for you project.
